"How Bioeconomy can contribute to mitigation of climate change?"
The replacement of fossil by bio-based resources can significanlty contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions. But there are also other pathways in the bioeconomy that contribute to climate change mitigation, such as soil carbon sequestration, process efficiency or avoidance and use of organic wastes or circularity. In this session two keynotes will present and discuss different GHG mitigation  options in the bioeconomy. They will provide input to a panel discussions with 2 representatives from  industry and policy on the practicality of implementing these GHG mitigation options.
