Programme

Participants can expect stimulating lectures, original research, practical examples and lively discussions on the topic how sustainable Bioeconomy can contribute to the Green Deal. The sessions will be built around sustainable value chains and cover primary production, conversion technologies as well as product development, impact assessment, economic aspects, policies and consumer research. Circular economy and the use of digitalization for smart and sustainable processes will be emphasized as important concepts for the bioeconomy.

Two plenary sessions and parallel sessions covering 6 different topics as well as a virtual poster and industry exhibition add to a diverse congress programme.

Translation of the Congress

Almost all Sessions will be held in English. There will be a few presentations within the sessions that are in German. The Industry Exhibition will mostly be held in German.

For the translation of the congress sessions there will be another homepage, using the Lecture Translator of the KIT, which will make it possible for you to have written translations in either English or German, depending on the session language. This way you have a real-time written translation while the session you have chosen to listen to takes place. On both congress days, the translating programme will have all rooms available, so that you can read the translation from your chosen session in real time.

Please find the Lecture Translator here.
